Mario studied Economics and Computer Science. His main interests include artifi cial intelligence, longevity science, and complex systems (social, economic, biological, or any kind of simulation). He is a strong supporter of open source and free software. He has worked in areas such as MCMC, where he co-created the world’s fastest polytope sampler (MHAR), and in decision theory, where he characterized the fi rst choice relation that satisfi es beta but not alpha (MAC).
He has also worked in industry as an architect and programmer for AI systems applied to biology, supply chains, security, chatbots, and more. In his free time, he enjoys video games and rock climbing.
