Mario Aguilar
Mario Andrés Aguilar Orduña received his B.Sc. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP, Puebla, Mexico) in 2012. He obtained both his M.Sc. (2018) and Ph.D. (2024) degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional (CINVESTAV, Mexico City).
Dr. Aguilar Orduña has contributed to applied research projects, collaborating on the design and development of automated systems for the non-destructive inspection of turbomachinery at the Instituto de Investigaciones Eléctricas (IIE), now the Instituto Nacional de Electricidad y Energías Limpias (INEEL). He is the author of several publications in peer-reviewed international journals, conferences, and book chapters, where he has also served as a reviewer. His research interests include active disturbance rejection control, sliding mode control, and geometric algebra, with applications in power electronic systems, renewable energy, and mechatronic systems.
