Rafael Cisneros is affiliated to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico. He obtained a BSc degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (Mexico), in 2009. He received his MSc and PhD degrees, both in Automatic Control, from CINVESTAV-GDL (Mexico) and Université Paris-Saclay (France), in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He was a postdoctoral researcher at FREEDM Systems Center in the NC State University (USA).  His interests are mainly focused on control theory and its applications to electrical systems.
