Margaret Sloan
Dr. Sloan received a Bachelor of Arts in English (Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude) from Yale University in 1998 and a Doctor of Philosophy in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2008. She has worked in professional development and organization of international conferences, given training workshops to executive groups in private companies, and spoken at international conferences. She has more than twenty years of teaching experience at institutions including the University of California, Endicott College, and the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Since 2008, Dr. Sloan has taught courses at ITAM in the undergraduate and graduate business programs and in the Executive Education program. She specializes in training students from diverse backgrounds within a bicultural context to improve their written and oral communication through interactive classes, coaching, and personalized feedback.
