Javier Martínez
Javier Martínez
He is a Full-time Professor in the Department of Writing and Languages of the ITAM. He has a degree on Philosophy, a degree on History and a Ph. D. on Philosophy (all of them by the Universitat de Barcelona). Moreover, he did postgraduate studies on Anthropology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. In his career he has won several scholarships for research and cultural promotion, with which he has traveled to Athens, Hong Kong and Mexico. He founded and directed Ex Novo, Revista d'Història i Humanitats, and taught courses at the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia and at the University of Hong Kong. He teaches Writing, Communication and Rhetoric. His research is focused on Studies of the Imaginary, Rhetoric, Ancient philosophy and Creative Writing. He is member of the Mexican National System of Researchers.
