Francisco Galán has a master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Alberta and a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Universidad Iberoamericana, in Mexico City. He has studied and conducted research at the University of British Columbia and the University of Calgary, in Canada; at the University of Maastricht, in the Netherlands, and at the University of Fordham, in New York.
