Currently, Cecilia is the Director of the Business Undergraduate and Associate Professor at ITAM. Cecilia completed her undergraduate degree in Actuarial Sciences and MBA at ITAM. Subsequently, she completed her doctoral studies in Business Administration at Florida International University.
Her research focuses on Hispanic consumer behavior and language choice in advertising. She has been published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Advertising, and authored a book about Hispanic Acculturation of Middle Income U.S. Hispanics. Cecilia has served as a consultant in marketing research projects across Latin America.
Cecilia has been awarded for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research and Brand Management at both, Florida International University and ITAM.
