Christina Wagner

Christina Wagner Faegri joined the Department of International Studies at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in 2015. Dr. Faegri has a Ph.D in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Southern California (USC).  She specializes in international political economy and development with emphasis on fiscal and political reforms in Latin America.  Her research focuses on redistributive issues around fiscal reform, including the use of tax instruments to compensate targeted economic actors in open economies, tax negotiations between Right- and Left-wing political parties, and the use of tax instruments to promote equity in unequal societies.

Dr. Faegri teaches classes on International Political Economy, Comparative Political Economy, International Relations, Research Methodology, Economic Development and Latin American Politics.
